Built for powered bench work, the GARANT Module for energy and media turns a Gridline media track into a configurable workbench power strip. The sheet metal modular design follows a plug and play insertion principle, and every power component includes its cables and plugs, so an assembly cell, test bench, or maintenance bay adds functions without rebuilding the bench.
Sixteen module types make up the range, running from US 110 V outlet modules through USB and USB 5 V, network, compressed air, and on/off types to cover, link, and empty base plate modules for the power track or media track. Which ones a bench gets comes down to the functions it needs and the divider units still free in its track, and the table names every type with its housing width. Within the Gridline family of workbench accessories, the same track accepts whichever mix a bench calls for.
Key features:
• System ratings: maximum connection value of 230 or 400 V AC at 16 A, protection class 1, IP 20, as stated for the industrial plug-in system.
• Pre-assembled power: powered modules come pre-assembled with a connecting cable and 3-pin plug for direct connection to the distribution block.
• US socket standard: outlet modules for the United States carry Type B sockets.
• Color selection: RAL 7035 light grey powder coat as standard, with a choice of ten RAL colors in total.
• 1U format: each module occupies one divider unit in the track.
How do you add power and air service to a workbench?
Modular plug-in units do it, building an industrial power strip one function at a time in the bench's media track.
Applications: bench power distribution, USB device charging, network connection at the bench, compressed air supply, switched circuit control, workstation configuration.
Industries: industrial assembly, electronics production, maintenance workshops, testing and inspection.
Users: workbench planners, assembly technicians, maintenance teams, facility engineers.
Q: Which modules combine with the US 110 V outlet units?
The US110V/1 and US110V/2 outlet modules fit only in combination with the ON/OFF1, COVER, AIR/S, NET, USB, USB/5V, and LINK modules. Check that pairing before you finalize a track layout, and confirm that the maximum number of module divider units for your media track is not exceeded when assembling modules individually.
Q: Do you need an electrician to install these workbench modules?
Yes, for the wired stages. Initial connections, and any connection of plugs or sockets to cables, should be performed only by a qualified electrician. After that wiring is in place, the plug and play principle takes over, and swapping or repositioning modules in the track becomes a workbench task rather than an electrical project.
Q: How much load can this workbench outlet system carry?
Total load capacity at AC is 3.5 kW, and the maximum connected load for three-phase AC is 10.5 kW. Tally what each workbench outlet group will feed, machines, chargers, and lighting, against those figures when you decide how many powered modules a bench receives.
