Description

HOLEX ABS Digital Caliper with High-Contrast Display | 0.0005 in. (0.01 mm) Resolution, Inch and Metric
Built for daily bench and shop measuring, the HOLEX digital caliper reads to 0.0005 in. (0.01 mm) on a large high-contrast display and switches between inch and metric at the press of a button. From incoming goods to final inspection, the reading discipline is the same from every hand that picks it up.
Measuring ranges run 4, 6, 8, and 12 in. (100, 150, 200, and 300 mm), plus a 150HM version that adds carbide measuring faces on the jaws and tips. The specifications that follow the model you select, maximum permissible deviation, jaw length, measuring system, and battery, are listed for every model in the table below, so you can pick the span your parts need with the full picture in view.

  • Hardened stainless steel (INOX) construction with precision-lapped measuring faces
  • Very high accuracy from the glass measuring scale
  • Electronics housed in the sliding part, decoupled from the casing, so gauging force transfers directly to the measuring jaws. This reduces error sources and extends working life
  • Automatic switch-off after approximately 5 minutes. The display wakes as soon as the tool moves
  • Rectangular 3.7 x 1.3 mm depth gauge for recesses and steps
  • Built to ISO 13385 with A1 calibration documentation included

Who relies on this digital caliper?
A digital caliper this quick to read serves every station where dimensions get checked, from the receiving desk to final sign-off.
Applications: incoming-goods inspection, in-process dimensional checks, final part verification, layout and benchwork, and tool and fixture setup all lean on the same quick reading.
Industries: precision manufacturing, machining and turning shops, quality assurance labs, maintenance and repair, and metal fabrication.
Users: quality inspectors, machinists, toolmakers, and maintenance technicians.

What accuracy does this digital caliper offer across its ranges?
Each measuring range carries its own maximum permissible deviation, from plus or minus 0.0008 in. (0.02 mm) on the 100 mm model to plus or minus 0.0016 in. (0.04 mm) on the 300 mm, with every model’s value listed in the table above. All models are built to ISO 13385, and the A1 calibration document supplied with each caliper means the certification is ready to use out of the box, so the tool can enter a monitored gauge program on day one.

Can the caliper switch between inch and metric readings?
Yes. The reading is reversible between millimeters and inches with one button press, and the large high-contrast display keeps either unit legible under shop lighting. That suits mixed-drawing environments where one part carries metric callouts and the next is dimensioned in inches, a common situation for US shops working with European product data or DIN-based components. The large display also helps when the caliper must be read at arm's length inside a machine enclosure or fixture.

What is included with the HOLEX digital caliper?
Each caliper arrives in a sturdy storage box with battery supplied, and the battery differs by model. The 100 mm version includes one LR44 installed plus two spares, and the 150, 150HM, 200, and 300 mm models each ship with a single CR2032. Either way, the caliper measures straight out of the box.
