Description

UV Flashlight, Rechargeable LED | Holex 300 Lumens 395 nm
Built for inspection duty in shops and service bays, the Holex LED/UV Rechargeable Flashlight works as a standard LED light and a uv flashlight in one 158 mm (6.2 in.) body. You get a 2-stage LED for white light plus a switchable UV mode, a combination suited to quality checks, inspection stations, maintenance rounds, and equipment service work.
Output reaches 300 lumens in white mode, while the UV side emits at a 395 nm wavelength. Power comes from a single lithium-ion rechargeable battery inside the anodized aluminium housing, and a rubber cover protects the operating button. Used as a rechargeable uv flashlight one hour and an everyday industrial flashlight the next, it spares you carrying two lights in an inspection kit.

Key features:
• 90 degree rotating head: the 29 mm (1.1 in.) head swivels to aim the beam while the body stays put
• Magnetic base: holds this inspection flashlight to steel surfaces for hands-free checks
• Long-life LED: latest LED technology with approximately 100,000 hours of service life
• IP54 index of protection: the housing is rated IP54, which covers dust and splashing water in shop and service bay conditions

Which flashlight works for both UV checks and general use?
A single uv led flashlight covers routine lighting and fluorescence checks, so inspectors carry one tool instead of two.
Applications: fluorescence checking, part and surface inspection, low-light repair work, equipment service, maintenance rounds, quality control.
Industries: quality assurance, maintenance and repair operations, machine shops, manufacturing, facilities service.
Users: inspection technicians, maintenance technicians, machine operators, service engineers.

What is a uv flashlight used for in an industrial shop?
You use it to make fluorescent materials visible. Under UV light at 395 nm, inks, coatings, and markers formulated to fluoresce stand out sharply from their surroundings, which covers the checks a dedicated uv inspection light is bought for. Because this Holex switches between UV and white LED modes, the same tool also handles ordinary work lighting around the task.

How long does the flashlight run, and how is it recharged?
You get a working life of 5 hours from each charge, and recharging runs through the USB charging cable supplied with the light. That runtime comes from a battery capacity of 2.6 Ah, which is the figure to compare when you weigh this light against another rechargeable model. Any powered USB port at a bench, cart, or vehicle can top it up between inspection rounds, so the light stays ready without a dedicated charging station.

Is there a difference between UV and black light models?
For shop purposes, no. Black light is the everyday name for the near-UV range that makes fluorescent material glow, so a black light flashlight and a blacklight flashlight are the same tool under two spellings, and both describe the UV mode here. The switchable design adds a white LED mode on top, so you are not limited to fluorescence work.
