Sturdy octagonal shank with cylindrical shaft. Uniformly through hardened over the entire length. Head specially annealed to prevent splintering. Actual diameter 0.05 - 0.5 mm less than nominal diameter, prevents the pin punch jamming in the hole.
Special quality, i.e. highest possible tip hardness − approx. 59 HRC − with exceptional toughness.
Material
Special quality, of extra chrome vanadium steel, chrome-plated and powder-coated.
