Description

A workbench pegboard engineered for the Garant Gridline system, the GARANT Perforated rear panel turns the back of a bench into vertical tool storage rated for a safe working load of 200 kg (440.9 lb). A pair of steel support columns carries the perforated sheet metal surface at a height of 962 mm (37.9 in.), serving assembly benches, machine-side workstations, tool cribs, and maintenance areas.
The set screws to Gridline worktops in three lengths, 1000 mm, 1500 mm, and 2000 mm (78.7 in.). Threaded sockets on the column fronts accept additional workbench accessories and modules from the Gridline system, including support arm brackets. The standard finish is RAL 7035 light grey powder coating, with RAL 9002, 7016, 5012, and 5005 offered as alternative colors.

Key features:
• Steel hollow section columns, 100 x 40 x 2 mm: a stiff backbone for a fully loaded panel wall
• Insertion slots at 50-mm intervals: mounting positions spaced evenly up the column front faces
• Material thickness: 1 mm.
• Supplied complete: column pair plus two single-sided perforated panels in one order

What holds tools above a workbench without a wall?
A bench-mounted pegboard panel set does, using support columns screwed to the worktop so storage travels with the bench.
Applications: hand tool organization, workstation tooling layout, small parts holder mounting, fixture staging, measuring tool storage, line-side 5S setups, wherever an industrial pegboard must keep the bench top clear.
Industries: machining, general manufacturing, maintenance departments, assembly operations, tool room management.
Users: machinists, assembly technicians, maintenance staff, workshop planners.

How do you install pegboard on a Gridline workbench?
You screw the pair of support columns directly to the worktop, so nothing needs a building wall behind the bench. The finished assembly stands on the bench itself and moves whenever the bench moves. Confirm worktop length before ordering, since versions match the three Gridline bench sizes, and you gain pegboard for workbench storage without drilling a single wall anchor.

What safe working load does the panel system carry?
Rated capacity is a 200 kg (440.9 lb) safe working load, which puts the system in heavy duty pegboard territory rather than light hardboard class. That figure covers a realistic full wall of hand tools, holders, and loaded accessories. Spread weight across the surface rather than clustering it at one edge, and keep the heaviest items closest to the columns.

Which accessories mount to the support columns?
Support arm brackets mount directly, with the columns suitable for them as supplied. Tool hooks and holders arrange freely over the perforated panel faces, while the Gridline range adds further modules for the column fronts. Start with the layout your most-used tools demand, then rearrange as the bench's job changes, which is the point of a slotted, modular back wall.
